The room was amazing, the breakfast and the food in the restaurant really good and many many options. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the manager Yaso, super cool guy, helped us a lot with information and sort out cheap transport for us

Set in a tea plantation it had great views from the balcony Listening to nature. & the workers it was very peaceful Anjana - the manager & Jack of Traded was so pleasant & very helpful. Makes a great chicken curry!!

The family was super nice and even organized a sunrise trip to Adam's peak for us. We also had breakfast and dinner there, which was really delicious! And the room was very cozy with a nice view from the balcony.

Very new modern clean comfortable room. With lovely outlook onto colourful garden. Modern bathroom facilities, excellent hot water shower. Very tasty meals, lots of tropical fruit. The owner is a perfect host, very attentive, available and keen to please.

The room is big, everything's is clean and the view are great. stuff are very friendly. location is close to bus and train station, there are many restaurant nearby so it's very convenient for us.

The place was super clean and comfy and customer service was exceptional.

Balcony view and room facility and humble staffs

We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay in Hatton!! The lady was so friendly and it felt like home. She gave us tee and always asked if we needed something. Our room was very nice, with an own balcony and view over the city and mountains! We can really recommend this place for a few days :)

The owner was very helpful and attentive. He made sure my stay was comfortable. 5 mts walk to the city center. Steep climb to the property, I took a tuck tuck only US 0.50 cents from the train station. Owner arranged for breakfast and dinner at a restaurant next door.

A clean and spacious room/home. Good location in Hatton. The owner was super friendly and caring. He helped me organize my trip to Adam’s peak and my next destination. There are 4 very clean, large and comfortable rooms. The rooms have everything we needed. There is a terrace with amazing views of the mountains and a very spacious living room area where we can sit, read and relax. The owners/hosts are so friendly and kind, attending to all our needs. We had dinner ordered, made by the host family. It was absolutely delicious home cooked meal. The breakfast was excellent too with strong coffee. And the WiFi was the best so far in Sri Lanka. It’s close to everything. Such a gem if you are on a budget or not.

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

Jeeva was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. He was very helpful and made my stay comfortable. The room was spacious and exceeded my expectations. The washroom was modern and very clean. Jeeva also helped me find authentic Sri Lankan food for both dinner and breakfast. I was very happy with his service and the homestay facilities. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and would love to come back again.
