The property is absolutely beautiful and relaxing, incorporating the local environment and culture. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The traditional Sri Lankan food was wonderful. All around a fantastic experience, we will be back. Thank you!

The venue, arrangement, food and hospitality were all top tier. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

Nalinda is a great host. He knows exactly what trekkers need. We were 6 hikers in 3 groups and he made a delicious and ample community dinner for all of us, catering for everyone's eating preferences (vegetarian etc). Since wifi doesn't even work well in that location, we had a great time chatting together over dinner. He also brought a huge breakfast because he knows stage 3 is a long one. Plus a hot shower and a clean room with comfy beds…couldn't ask for more. Def plan to stop here after Pekoe Trail Stage 2.

The people who run it are extremely helpful with every detail. They helped me find a wonderful tuk tuk driver who brought me many places and delivered my bags to another town while I was trekking stage 2 of the Pekoe Trail. They got me lunch. The food was excellent.
