Everything was perfect at this campsite. The location was great - not far from towns while you can run into spectacular views along the road from Olden to the campsite at a random morning! The cabin we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. It was equipped with a kitchen as well as a patio. The staff was very kind and helpful. There were plenty of things to do at the campsite. It was a great pleasure to stay there even for the whole day. We wish to stay there again sometime in the future.

Everything was spotless and modern. All we needed for a comfortable few days. Beds were comfortable and the area was quiet at night. Washer and dryer came in handy. Gourmet coffee maker. Easy access to Loen Chairlift with lots of hiking options. Lots of restaurants nearby. Using the car charging system in the carport was easy and included in the price.

Very nice place with a unique location within walking distance to a glacier. The place combines the charm of an old villa with modern quality-of-life features. The first floor is a spacious dining hall with a well-equipped kitchen. There is a chill TV-sofa corner and plenty of space for whatever games or parties one may want, inside or outside, with a fire pit. The second floor is where most of the rooms are. I liked the interior with wallpapers a lot – they gave a nice feeling of an old village house. The showers and toilets there are shared but clean and well maintained. The hosts are nice: very welcoming, easy to talk to and eager to help.

Tungestølen has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Veitastrond. Guests can have a drink at the bar. The rooms at the hostel come with a private bathroom equipped with a shower.

Tungestolen is amazing! Jorn is a gracious host with mad cooking skills! Our family was thrilled with our stay here. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We paid extra for dinner both nights and it was well worth it. The views everywhere are incredible, the facilities very clean. When we weren't hiking, we relaxed in the main building with endless coffee, tea, and serenity.
