I traveled for work and found my stay in this chalet really nice and comfortable! It's new and has beautiful interior (love all the little details!) and was super clean. I especially liked the bathroom. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Slept really well despite very heavy rain and wind. There's a big shopping mall just a few minutes away. Friendly and welcoming owner, everything went smoothly. Hope to be able to come back!

Very nice breakfast and overall the look of the hotel was amazing. Rooms were not as expected from the look of the hotel, rather disappointing.

My wife rented two single rooms for us, since she'd read complaints about the beds in the bigger rooms. We had a very good stay. Though our single beds were narrow, they were comfortable. There were two thicknesses of pillows in each room. The showers are well-enclosed and have good pressure. I noticed some changes in my shower temperature but nothing drastic. There is reasonably good soundproofing in the walls. There is a small fridge in the room, plus a regular-size one in the common area (kitchen). There is also a washer and dryer in the common area that guests can use, as well as two drying racks, an iron, and an ironing board. (We had to remove some items from the dryer that the "housekeeper" had dried, but we had permission to do that. We just folded them and set them on a drying rack so they'd stay clean.) There is free parking on-site (more than just the three spots marked private). The price for staying there is excellent, so expect to supply your own toiletries like shampoo. They did supply handsoap. There are three good restaurants, a cafe, and two grocery stores within walking distance.

We had a beautiful view of the Fjord from our room. The hotel location couldn’t be better right at the ferry. We also very much enjoyed the big breakfast.

I loved it. Location is magical, the bed super cozy and FINALLY a hotel with curtains! I could sleep properly for a night by blocking the light. Breakfast was awesome :3

Central location in Brekstad near ferry terminal and walking distance to restaurants. Room was comfortable and clean with bed linen and towels provided. Shared kitchen was a nice space to make own breakfast. Good areas for bird-watching within a short drive away at Garten, Grandefjæra, Uthaug and Hovsfjæra.
