Stayed for a night in Room 407. Had arranged a pickup from the airport via the hotel and while the pickup was not seen at the airport, after contacting the hotel manager I got the pickup done. Check in was very smooth and note that there is no elevator in the hotel. My room was on 3rd level. Room was very clean & spacious and looked exactly like in the pics. Brand new aircon in the room and a very spacious bath with hot water.

All excellent! I was given a beautiful room with a view of the mountains and l extended my stay, it was my first time in Kathmandu and l stayed for 4 nights, couldn’t ask for more. I was picked up at the airport. All the staff is so kind. Breakfast is a buffet with different options everyday. Perfectly clean. I had complimentary spa access which was relaxing. The location is more than perfect, in Thamel but in a quiet street, where there is a small grocery, a beauty salon, a good restaurant, a small eatery and a yoga studio and a cafe (All recommended) They even kept my luggage for days free of charge. Thank you so much.

It was my first time staying here and i felt more relaxed and comfortable as the services were all good. The staff were friendly to us and comparing to other hotels that I have stayed at , I genuinely liked this one the most. Thank you for you service

Clean, helpfull staff, quiet location.. Very nice for stay in kathmandu city

I recently stayed  at thamel hostel & spa wanted to share my positive experience. The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-maintained, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional, making me feel right at home. If you are visiting Kathmandu and looking for an affordable yet outstanding place to stay, I highly recommend this location.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated the table tennis facilities, which added a fun touch. The location is excellent very close to the city centre and key amenities. If you're staying on the higher floors, the city view is quite amazing as well.

Nice hotel located right by the Thamel and other attractions. The staff is very kind and helpful. Good breakfast.

Almost everything amazing, staff are attentive, and super friendly, quick in service anything asked to them. Delicious breakfast on rooftop. Wifi always stable, great surfing. Better than any other budget friendly hostel/hotel around Thamel. Will be back next year, with my friends.

I don't have enough words to describe my gratitude to this place and this heartwarming family. To start with the place itself: excellent location, brand new, super clean and fresh, hot water, everything is perfect to the each small detail. The owners: you feel that they put all their heart in it. They are very friendly, loving and kind. It felt like going back home to dear close family, not just a famous house. Dear Smriti and Puru, thank you so much to take care of me like I am your sister and being extra supportive with my injury. Came for a visa run, left with a new family in Katmandu 🩵

I had a fabulous stay at Hotel Ambassador in Kathmandu and would highly recommend it. The location is very good, close to Thamel which is a very lively area and the Swayambunath temple and Pashupatinath temple is easily accessible by the hotel’s taxi. The Kathmandu Durbar Square is close by to the hotel. The hotel staff are very nice, helpful and so polite. There is a lovely open air restaurant on the top floor which was enjoyable. Breakfast was great. The hotel organised a free drop off to the airport which I thought was a very nice gesture. I would definitely like to go back to this hotel

The room was spacious and i got an upgrade. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were clean and hot water was available. The WiFi was fast. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Kathmandu since it is quiet and calm.

This was our 5th stay at the Magnificent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is good quality. It is in a quiet location in Thamel, and an easy walk to the the main shopping areas. We will be back!

The location is excellent - quiet and peaceful and just next to busiest street. The room is bright and clean. Staff are nice and helpful. All facilities are in excellent status.

The room was nice and comfortable and the bathroom as well big and clean. The staff was amazing, very kind and helpfull, it was really a plesure to meet them! It is located in a very central touristic area.

The hotel staff is so kind and polite, that at one point I wondered whether I even deserve to be treated THAT nice! Really, I felt like a queen. These are the kind of people who say "you're the MOST welcome, ma'am" instead of "you're welcome" and if an issue arises, they solve it in seconds. What an exceptional hospitality! Everything matches the pictures and there is everything you would expect from a 5-star hotel: comfortable big beds with crispy bedsheets, amazing breakfast, beautiful infinity pool etc., but there are also some nice unexpected touches, like a welcome drink upon arrival, or Chenrezig mantra softly playing in the background during breakfast. It's crazy how you can get such service for such relatively low price. Unmatched quality. The only "disadvantage" is that you get spoiled and it's more difficult to stay in other hotels later.
