This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in - the hotel has just one room and is located on a man made reed island floating on Lake Titicaca. Walter was very helpful - we had a few changes in our itinerary, due to transport problems, and he was very helpful in allowing us to change our booking dates. The room was spacious with amazing lake views though the floor to ceiling windows. The meals were also very good. Please note you need to pay in cash and there are no ATM near the property (obviously!), so bring sufficient cash with you

This is such a unique stay right on Lake Titicaca. Anyone visiting this area should treat themselves to a stay on one of the floating islands. Our stay here, with Willie and his lovely family was fantastic. We stayed in one of the two rooms he built on his island. The room is large and all sides are windows so you can look out on the lake from anywhere. The bed is big and so comfortable with many warm blankets. We visited in rainy season and while we did get rain, we also got a fair bit of sun as well. The room is warm in the day but gets quite cold at night (January) but there is a propane heater that works well. The electricity and hot water are solar powered and even though there was rain, we always had hot water. This is an all inclusive so breakfast, lunch and dinner were included. Willie's wive is an amazing cook and we enjoyed every meal and they were generous portions. Willie took us out on the lake twice, once for a demo of how the floating islands are built and once to tour the various islands. This really is a wonderful way to spend a day or 2 on the lake. We highly recommend choosing this property.

We stayed one night with Caesar and Lucy as part of our family trip. We were received with great hospitality, the rooms were comfortable and ample. The food is home cooked and delicious and even our children aged 8 to 13 liked it.

It was better then aspected, clean with a lots of character, amazing view, best family ever, warm, ready to help anytime, Delia is an incredible host and cook, Wilber her husband transported us back and forth to any destination we needed to be. Exceptional stay with breathtaking views and total peace. This property is a true gem. From the moment you arrive, you can feel how peaceful and thoughtfully designed the experience is. Being located just outside the city makes all the difference—quiet, calm, and far removed from the noise, yet still close enough to easily access Puno. The room was extremely comfortable, spacious, and well maintained. Waking up to the views was one of the highlights of the stay—panoramic sights of the city below and the stunning Lake Titicaca stretching out in the distance. It’s the kind of view that makes you slow down and truly enjoy the moment. The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding and disconnecting. The surrounding natural setting enhances the experience, and the elevated location offers incredible vantage points overlooking the entire city—especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes that felt both comforting and high quality. Just as impressive was the staff: attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. They go out of their way to make sure you feel taken care of and comfortable at all times. Highly recommended, and we would gladly return.
