The owner of this newly renovated guesthouse is part of a growing trend in Lower Silesia: small, private hosts investing thoughtfully to welcome tourists to this scenic region. Great care has been taken to provide comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. What impressed me most was the décor in the hallways and the overall design of the room. The bathroom is spacious and attractive. The bed is comfortable, and the furnishings blend vintage pieces with modern touches in a contemporary boutique style that clearly reflects the owner’s eye. A light tea and coffee service is conveniently available in the hallways. Take a moment on the staircases as well—the artwork is worth a closer look. I’ll be returning when I’m traveling in the area (which I often do for hiking). This part of Lower Silesia is becoming even more appealing—not only because of the natural beauty, but also thanks to ongoing investments that are improving the highway system and access to the region.

Villa Elizabeth is a charming and beautiful hotel located in the center of Bolków. It was quaintly decorated with winter holiday lights and seasonal touches, which added a lovely atmosphere. I purchased the additional breakfast, which was beyond plentiful: a generous buffet with coffee, tea, traditional Polish cakes, breads with cheeses and sliced meats, fresh tomato, cucumber, and peppers, along with a portion of freshly cooked eggs. The breakfast room itself was calm and cozy, and I especially loved seeing the resident cats on the staircases in the mornings. I had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful—they arranged a taxi to and from Wrocław airport, assisted with communication with the drivers, and even helped me wash a piece of clothing I needed to fly back home in.

Beautiful, quiet location. Nice house with comfy beds, plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Very helpful and attentive host.
