Very quiet location with nice views. Woman handling the 'cafeteria' (ie snack bar) was very helpful.

Great value! Great food in the restaurant. Beautiful pool and grounds. Could have used a cleaner floor in our room (it was tile; nothing terrible, just left sock/feet brown if barefoot. Attentive staff. We must have been there in the off season because there was virtually no one else there. Would definitively recommend.

Spectacular views, good food, wonderful staff, unique accommodation. The road is not the best but I made it in a Kia Picanto.

If I could give a thousand stars, I would!!! I will never stay anywhere else and it’s a miracle and a blessing I found this place. I had another booking through booking.com, arrived and they said cash only when it’s in BOLD letters in the email that they do NOT accept cash. Basically, I had to look for another place and found El Mangal B&B and I’m so happy I did! The host was willing to let me buy an Amazon purchase to stay at his place since I had no cash and originally and wasn’t going to be able to get any. He is an angel! It’s like the heavens opened up and delivered me to his Bed & Breakfast! First off, this place is incredible! Private parking, A/C, HUGE room and bathroom, reclining couch, refrigerator, tons of space in bathroom to put things (important to a women), flat screen tv, lots of space for putting clothing. They stock the fridge with drinks you can buy and that was super convenient. The bed is AMAZING and better than Marriott’s beds, no joke! I’m a horrible sleeper and while I was there 3 nights (I extended my stay it was so great) Ingot better sleep than I have in 20 years! And breakfast is included and so big that I didn’t eat another meal for the rest of the day or night because they serve you so much food! Breakfast was different each day and the best meals I’ve had in El Salvador, to be sure! Super lovely and humble and exceptionally nice couple. They both have hearts of gold! I wish I lived near just so I could be friends with them! Their place is a short walk to the historic center and also close to so many things that are probably on your list to see while you’re there. It’s perfect! Please do yourself a favor and book with them. You will be so happy you did!!!

This hotel was super cute and had a garden kind of feel. It was super clean and had very nice bathrooms as well as super soft and comfy beds. The restaurant was fantastic and the balcony alone makes this hotel worth it. The staff were super friendly and willing. I would consider this the nicest hotel in all El Salvador!

I like that they make an effort to give you a room to yourself. They have a bunk bed in the rooms and if they’re not busy, they will put only one person to a room.
