All staff were brilliant and would go out there way to help food was excellent will return again

The bungalow was very spacious, clean, and cozy. The garden is well-kept and gives a relaxing vibe. The restaurant on site is a big plus — tasty food and convenient. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay even better.

Beds are cozy and restaurants are near. Plus the staffs are helpful and really accommodating.

One of the best mini resorts I have seen in Thailand. Spacious rooms, a huge bed, very nice bathroom. The bungallows are new, the kind you would pay 300-400 USD for on an island. Great garden with a pool and jacuzzi. The French owners are very welcoming and truly understand hospitality. The Thai personnel were also amazing. Will come back.

The owner and the staffs are very nice. They exceed our expectation. The owner picked us up from pier when we arrived. She even send us to a local restaurant without any hesitation. The rate of the room is not expensive.

Location is great just near the Pier and markets and beaches walkable.

Clean, comfortable and shady atmosphere

Clean, very green, swimming pool, bookcrossing shelves, friendly. Owners also recommended traditional medicine specialist, so drank herbs for the whole stay and now feel much better

Stayed on 12th floor, We loved the size of the condo and the view from balcony and the mountain view from front door, room was very comfortable except the bed. We appreciated how huge it was but it did a number on our backs. The daily sunsets were beautiful over the ocean. Make sure you go to the 32 floor and see the view of the whole area on roof. The pool and beach were relaxing and people friendly. There is a water filling machine in the lobby that was very convenient. Plenty of places to eat including a western style pizza shop that's a must visit! Our host was very responsive and was very nice. Full kitchen for cooking was a big bonus that we used everyday. Very spacious bathroom shower. No washer but hand washed clothes and used the drying rack and hangers provided by host. Laid back chill area to get away from big city.

We arrived in Bangkok late at night and had initially planned to head to Koh Samet. However, since the port closes at 7 PM, we decided to stay at Smile Guesthouse for the night. I’m so glad we did! The location is fantastic, conveniently situated near the port FOR KOH SAMED and (near 7-11). The staff was incredibly accommodating; she even waited for us until 2 AM upon our arrival! The hostel was impressively clean, especially considering the affordable price. It provided a relaxing atmosphere for my family and me after a long day of travel. The comfortable accommodations made our brief stay enjoyable, allowing us to recharge before continuing our journey. Overall, I highly recommend Smile Guesthouse to anyone looking for a clean, budget-friendly place to stay in Bangkok. It exceeded my expectations and gave us the relaxation we needed. I would stay here again!

The place is next to Ban Phe pier, convenient location to stay 1 night before go to Ko Samed or other islands. Many shops, cafes and a few banks are located in a few minutes away. For 3 star hotel is nice and comfortable to stay 1 night on the way from Bangkok to Ko Samed.

Hosts are excellent and answer questions before and during the stay very quickly. I couldn't find any nearby motorcycle rental agencies nearby so I asked the owner weeks before my stay what the options were. They arranged for a rental motorcycle to be available when I arrived, and at a very good price. Place is steps from the ferry docks

Its a beautiful place designed by a french architect even though there was a language barrier his translator still lets his sense of humour come across

My parents stayed here as they were visiting Koh Samet for the first time. The owners were absolutely the best. Super nice couple who helped in any way they could, including with transportation to the pier. My mum was amazed about how cleaned the place was. Super comfortable and such a good price. 5 min from the pier. Def recommend!!! Super easy to communicate with the owners. Book it. You will not regret it.
