We had a wonderful stay at Dar Salama. The place is calm, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Marie, the hostess, is incredibly kind and helpful, and the entire staff made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast fresh, generous, and beautifully served. I liked the personal touch of this accommodation, the lady rents out this room only - the location within the medina of Bizerte where the locals live was great. It is a bit hidden but once you know where the place is it is easy to find. I arrived at night so it was a bit tricky to find it but after a WhatsApp call the owner was so friendly to come to meet me right at the entrance of the medina and to guide me to the accommodation so all was good in the end. - the medina is great for exploring the Old harbour and the city centre area and to mingle with locals - the breakfast was very rich and generous, I loved it! - the room was at the rooftop, was big and had everything you would need.

I love the room which was quiet and clean. It is a small room, but what more do you need when travelling? The owners were very kinds and gentle. I was sick during my stay and the owner/lady made me a soup since I was not able to eat other food. The husband was very kind and help me to get to taxi/lounge station to get back to Tunis. He also took me to exchange place to change some money. Overall, this place is one of the nicest places I have stayed at while vising Tunisia. The building is a traditional dar that brings you back to the time of Andalusians and the architecture of that time.
