Location was great for our needs. The king size double room was excellent. Traveling with our adult son and his GF fo a short 2 night trip and we did not want to book 2 separate rooms. The room and bathroom was spacious and the 2 king beds were fantastic for 4 adults. Well appointed gym and the bar was a great stop!

Our stay was great at this charming inn. We enjoyed the spacious king-suite with its amenities that made our long stay a “home away from home”. The inn is operated like an Air BNB where you are given a code & key to enter your room. There is a common living room that is beautifully decorated to reflect its era (circa 1880s) which enhances the exterior design of the building. We would consider staying here again. Downtown Summit is 2 blocks away with many novelty stores as well as restaurants & cafes.

Lin Wood Retreat offers accommodations in Plainfield, 20 miles from New Jersey Performing Arts Center and 20 miles from Prudential Center.
