We arrived in Ottawa and proceeded to the hotel we had booked (The Squire). That hotel had no roof as a tornado touched down 2 weeks prior and severely damaged the building. We had no prior clue the hotel was closed, but the Comfort Inn had room and put us up. They were friendly and super accommodating, and we have a good story.

Breakfast was adequate. It was cold. The coffee was good. The eggs and sausage were ice cold. The bananas were fresh and the yogurt was good. The juice was weak and warm.
