We felt very welcomed by Iris. She made us feel right at home. The house and yard are a beautiful step back in time with any modern convenience you could need. The room was large and comfortable. Having a fridge was a plus, and there was self-service laundry not far from our room. We were in the middle of a two-week trip, so it was handy to be able to wash dirty clothes. The bed and pillows were excellent. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. I didn't need quarters for the laundry, but the front desk had some. The recommendation for food delivery was excellent -- and the food was better than expected. The breakfast buffet the next morning was good.
