United StatesThe house/hotel is absolutely beautiful! Full of antiques and original wood, stained glass windows, fireplaces, a wrap around porch with rocking chairs, water (Elk River?) at the back of the property, this place exceeded my expectations. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. I booked a suite, which was about $200/night. It was well worth it. The walls were solid so I couldn't hear my neighbor if I even had one. It was very clean, aside from a used bar of soap in the shower. The bed was large and soft and incredibly comfortable. The decor was beautiful, and I loved the balcony overlooking the trees and water. I found myself hating to leave the next day, wishing I could stay an extra night. I slept through breakfast due to how comfortable the bed was, but it looked to be mostly portable with granola bars, oatmeal packets and such.

Check in/check out very simple, my first property that has ever stocked the room with enough towels for the amount of people staying, continental breakfast had a wide variety and very well stocked with staff there for any needs. Adequate parking, great WiFi, great selection on tv. It made my life with little children much easier

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and a good value. Breakfast was ok, I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Restaurant/lounge was nice too, when it was open. Property did well to keep up with the winter weather and the parking was plowed and salted fairly quickly when a winter storm moved in. Staff was able to point me in the right direction to find the local liquor store (located inside the Exxon) which made the winter snow storm easier to endure.
