All my expectations were met, the place is so beautiful and peaceful. I give them 100/100.

All was neat and easy to access. the pool area was not used most of the stay. The bed was very comfortable

Wild animals, beautiful people, delicious food, over-the-top service....and so much more. Staff paid attention to detail. They remembered what drinks we had. If we made friends on safari and ate a meal together they would automatically set the table for the same number of people the next time. I felt like I made friends, extended family with everyone on staff.

I want to thank the staff of Maroelani lodge. We stayed may 15-17 and it was a Amazing experiencie. The service, the atenttion, the rooms, the food and the game drives. We had a welcome drink that was so good & also all the wines and cocktails were excelent. It was my birthday and they made it extra special, one of the most wonderful ones. They even sang happy birthday to me with a cake and decorate my room. It was the best service, stay here. You won't regret it. Thank thank you for the incredible stay.

As a solo traveler visiting Hoedspruit for the very first time, I honestly could not have asked for a better place to stay. Ingwenkala Lodge completely blew my expectations away. From the moment I arrived, the owners were unbelievably kind, welcoming, and beyond hospitable. Traveling alone to a new destination can sometimes feel daunting, but David and Mark immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable in their home. Their warmth and personal care made my entire experience so special and unforgettable and I left genuinely feeling part of the Ingwenkala family. The lodge itself is beautiful and peaceful, the rooms beautifully decorated, and the food absolutely delicious. I left with amazing memories and a real connection to Hoedspruit as a result of the wonderful hospitality I received during my stay at Ingwenkala Lodge. Please go and see for yourself, it’s a gem of a lodge!

We had an amazing stay at Etnika Manor House! from the moment we arrived, Rodney, the hotel manager, was always looking out for us. He was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect during out stay. He even arranged incredible safari activities for us beforehand, which became some of the highlights of our trip. The lodge’s chef prepared delicious meals every day, always served with a warm smile that made us feel right at home. The hotel surroundings were absolutely beautiful, you could even spot wild animals right from the property! I highly recommend this Lodge to anyone visiting the area!

Clean (and cleaned daily), quiet, with great hot water, wifi, pool, and communication. Super safe area, a 35 min walk to the village or 5 min drive. Would gladly stay again.

A great place to relax, explore the surroundings and enjoy the tranquility. Close enough to explore town easily. Host was very helpful with recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: - Annalie and John were wonderful hosts; - The lodge was delightful, nestled in a beautiful natural setting. During your journey, you may observe a variety of animals; - Breakfast was pleasant, offering a good selection of choices.

The owner Josef was very friendly and accommodating. He made the visit very nice.

So peaceful, saw lots of wildlife such as giraffes, and warthogs, etc. The staff were amazing, and the food was the best!!

Incredible hosts who made me feel like a special guest. They went out of their way to accommodate me as I left very early and returned very late but they made sure there was always delicious food ready for me. Truly exceptional!

What a find! This beautiful guest house is in a fabulous, leafy, residential neighbourhood of Hoedspruit. Very peaceful and quiet. Many eateries, cafes and a Spar are within easy walking distance. While the accommodation is quite basic, it is more than adequate for a couple of days in town. The real added value comes from the caring owner who gave us a warm welcome and helped us without hesitation when our plans changed. Alfred could not have been more accommodating. We are grateful to have found Maruleng.

Let me be honest, the property was so wonderful that I wish I had scheduled a longer stay. Staff was incredibly helpful.

Everything about it was exceptional!

The property was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and the outside area is the perfect place to relax. Julie was a great host and the communication with her was perfect. We did not see a soul during our stay which was just what we wanted. Great value for money and we will definitely be back.
