Easy location near Yamagata Station, nice clean rooms and facilities, great amenities, 7-11 right downstairs, staff was great and friendly Everything about this hotel is made to be easy for the traveler. We didn’t include breakfast in our stay as it was for 6 nights but did buy tickets for one morning and it was delicious for a reasonable price

The place feels like home! Our family enjoyed our stay here as we were warmly welcomed by the owners. They were very accommodating and helpful during our stay. The location of the place was also near and convenient for people who will have skiing trips and onsen activities. The owners were kind and approachable. The property was very luxurious, clean and just very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and tried to accommodate with what ever I needed. Even with the language barrier they did everything exceptionally without any issues. The food was amazing also. The dinners especially were one of the major highlights for me. I tried so many new dishes and they all tasted amazing. Being locally sourced also made if that more delicious. The room was also amazing as I had my own private onsen.

It was a luxury ryokan experience at a very affordable price point. The baths were really nice, and there was a complementary option to book one private bath stance. The room was way spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. Great experience overall, and very nice as a relaxing spot after touring around Japan.
