My girlfriend and I were doing a tour of Austria and we wanted a calm place to simply switch off and relax. Imlauer Hotel Schloss Pichlarn was an excellent choice. We actually liked it so much that we stayed an extra night. We chose the breakfast and dinner option. I have to say that the price was more than fair for Austria during the peak summer season. The entire experience was incredible. The hotel had organized transport for us from the train station. The staff was really polite (especially Patrick). Everything was really clean and the view from the winter garden is incredible. There are a lot of visitors who go there to play golf, but there are a lot of other experiences to be had. We went on a day trip to Hallstatt. It is just 45 minutes by train. You can also do day trips to other lakes. Much better than going from Salzburg. It was really an incredible experience that I will remember for a very long time. I highly recommend it. Also, don't forget to go on a quest and visit the local chicken farm. There is an automated store where you can buy local delicacies from the farmers!

What an amazing place! I woke up surrounded by huge mountains and a beautiful location I never expected. The road to the place was absolutely breathtaking. The apartment was great — I loved the style and everything inside. The host was wonderful as well. It’s truly worth it!
