I loved that the property was well maintained and well cared by the staff. Also, I loved the friendly-ness of the staff bringing in a ‘Stay at home’ feeling. Without a single doubt I’d would say this is one of the best hotel if you are looking for a cheap room around the city.

5min walk from the Central Metro / Train station, 15~20min walk from the main bus terminal station. The atmosphere in the Hostel is really cool! Great showers with super hot water (adjustable, of course). There's a clay water filter for drinkable water! And, the best: cute doggies around!! (but don't worry if you're not a dog person - they're small and super well behaved, they'll only get closer after you allow them =]

I had been to this hotel before and thought I would stay again after eight years. For value, I think it still holds up. I was on an upper floor so it was quiet. Location was OK for me with a lot of variety of places to shop and eat. Taxis are always available close by. The staff was friendly.

It is an old building with a great location at the heart of Belo Horizonte. The double room is quite big with a balcony and space to keep the clothes. Even for a busy location the room was clean. The staff was polite and available to solve problems.

Good place to stay. Quiet and close to several facilities. Clean and with good staff, friendly and helpful. Elevators work well, but the security keys don't work. Breakfast was great and staff helpful.

I loved everything! It was practically perfect! This was my second time at the hotel The staff are so awesome and nice, I loved meeting them and I shall miss them quite a lot! Loved the breakfast, didn't skip once. Super pleased with the location as well - you have to go and take a stroll around the lake! The space on the top floor is so relaxing, the pool is clean and beautiful!

Gave the wrong hours so missed breakfast by 2 minutes. Good thing is that besides some very bad staff there was someone very kind who helped us get breakfast across the street. But rest of staff was not uo to the work

All the staff are helpful & friendly especially Luisa. Not only she can speak English which makes communication easy but she also accompanied me to a nearby clinic to get a medical treatment. I am soooo grateful for the help. The dorm is spacious & comfortable. The air-condition & wifi works well. Breakfast is good and the location opposite the lake is nice.
