Beautiful, isolated location. Very close to mountain hiking. Comfortable rooms and nice decor inside and out. Lovely green with lounge chairs. Almost all guests were Germans. Very good breakfast and nice restaurant for dinner. I didn’t get to the spa. The sauna opens in the afternoon.

The property is around 25 miles from Suhl City Center, 27 miles from Messe Erfurt Convention Center, and 28 miles from Erfurt Central Station.

Located in the center of the town of Ilmenau, bordering the Thuringian forest, this hotel is 3 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from the A71 motorway.
