The location could not have been better. All the attractions, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. The village is very pretty, and the experience felt truly authentic. One of the most important features for this area is that every room has a real wood-burning stove for heating. The staff starts the fire when you check into your room, which is a wonderful touch. The staff was sweet, and the breakfast was beautifully prepared.

Super friendly staff & lovely room. I expecially enjoyed the wood stove in the room as it was a bit chilly at night! Food was very good & plenty of hot water for showers. Highly recommended for a stay in Quilitoa!

The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

Really great experience! Unbeatable beautiful views, hot showers, laundry facilities on site, llamas, alpacas, and black sheep. Food was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful with planning transport. The cheese factory tour was really fun and we even got to feed the llamas one afternoon.

Amazing homestay experience. The owners are very kind and hospitable. It was fun to chat with them and see their gardens where our meals came from. The food was some of the best we have had in Ecuador. Clean, hot shower, annals good WiFi as well. But best of all the people there :)

Lovely cozy room with its own fire meant I was lovely and warm as the cold night winds blew. Great location by the crater rim. Staff were very helpful.

Great location adjacent to the lake. Clean rooms, hot shower that's not too difficult to adjust properly, lots of blankets against the cold. The staff were extremely helpful, letting be shower after my checkout when I returned from hiking the lake. Breakfast was really nice and great value.

The location is pretty good. It’s close to the overlook although you can’t actually see any views from Chukirawa.

The location of the hostel is great, right across from the viewpoint of the lake. Rooms are basic but comfortable, the wood stove is great (and necessary, because it gets cold at night!). We had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed the simple, home-cooked food. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and helped us to organize a taxi to Latacunga for a decent price.
