I appreciated how clean, well equipped kitchen, and how well maintained the property was. I also enjoyed its location and convenience to interesting things to see on the island. I also loved the countryside where the property was located.

Wonderful location just off the Main Street in Kirkwall, moments from the main attractions, and close to shops selling local produce. The house is a great size and well designed, meaning there was plenty of space for everyone during our stay. We found the kitchen to be well-stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, and found it easy to make ourselves at home. The hosts were very responsive, happy to make recommendations, and keen to ensure we had a wonderful time, which I'm delighted to say we did!

The owner was very kind and accommodating when I had issues with the ferry. The property itself was excellent. Had everything I needed for a weeks stay. Perfect location in the middle of Kirkwall.

From assisting with taxi arrangements to facilitating an extended stay due to a missed flight, their genuine hospitality was exceptional. Unmatched Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Kirkwall, it provides convenient access to a variety of amenities. Lidl, Tesco, restaurants, souvenir shops, and the magnificent Magnus Cathedral are all within easy walking distance. Historic Charm: The Kirkwall Hotel itself is a treasure trove of history. The corridors are adorned with captivating historic pictures, offering a glimpse into the past. A particularly delightful surprise was the beautifully preserved guest register dating back to 1948, adding a unique touch to the ambiance. Peaceful and Inviting: My room was impeccably clean and offered a serene atmosphere, free from any disruptive noise. The view of the harbor was an added bonus, providing a picturesque backdrop to my stay. Very clean room and bathroom! Simple and understated, very close to the ferry and conveniently close to restaurants.

This was a cozy, well designed stay, centrally located in Kirkwall. Modern appliances, cleverly installed, made the living room, dining room, and kitchen truly functional despite the name “The “Little House”.

Amazing place 5 minutes walk from the bus station. Comfortable bed. The loft has everything needed for short and long stays. Fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, great hot shower. The host is amazing, very welcoming and helpful. I had an early flight to Kirkwall and wasn't left in the cold weather. Thank you! Highly recommended :)
