Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Rothesay

Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a seaview room and had just enough time in daylight to see how beautiful it was. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room beautifully appointed.

Fun Cadillac themed decor and amazing 1950s American diner where we had breakfast. The two rooms we had were great, very comfortable and with good sea views. Would go back.

The property is very close to the town and the ferry so definitely walkable but note it is does end with a challenging hill. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and I couldn't ask for more in that respect. The bedroom and private bathroom were very clean and tidy, noting a short stretch of shared corridor between the two. The bed was comfy and the house/neighbourhood were quiet so I slept well. This was my first time in a home-stay type setting and would definitely recommend it and would do it again where there is an obvious cost difference to equivalently positioned hotels.

Owner and family extremely pleasant and accommodating. Was expecting more for breakfast but enjoyed what we got. Our suite was lovely.

We stayed for 2 weeks. Perfect accommodation, short walk to town. Had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Easy parking right outside door. Would book again.

There was no breakfast except for instant coffee. The location was convenient to the ferry and everything else in the town.

We were very impressed when we arrived on Saturday to find that the property was so spacious and very bright. it was really well decorated and nicely furnished, extremely comfortable and everything in it was absolutely immaculately clean , including all the kitchen utensils . We enjoyed the beautiful views over the castle and the fact that it was so well situated right in the heart of the town, surrounded in good cafes and shops, very handy!

The location was central to everywhere by car or public transport near by. The flat was clean, comfortable and updated with everything we needed and to allow our Furbabies to stay, we had plenty room for all of us.
