Didi and his wife are 2 amazing people, always willing to help and giving good suggestions. Room is clean, spacious, hot shower works efficiently. The guesthouse is right on the city center of Senaru. Breakfast is really good. Bed is really comfy.

I stayed at Tatasya Homestay in Senaru and they were incredible from start to finish. They helped me plan and execute my Mount Rinjani trek and made everything smooth and stress-free. They held my bags while I hiked, arranged a car ride to Kuta after my trek, and even welcomed me back with fresh coconuts. After the hike, they let me shower and rest in a room before heading out, which was such a blessing after three days in the mountains. The hospitality here is top-notch, super warm, helpful, and kind people. That alone makes this place worth staying at. One small downside was that they didn’t mention the hot springs wouldn’t be hot because the lake was too high during rainy season. Also, I did the 3-day/2-night trek, and while it was beautiful, it was pretty brutal. On the second day, you summit at sunrise, hike down to the lake, then up the other side of the crater, it’s a really tough push. I’m not sure the extra day is worth it unless you’re super set on seeing the lake. If you're looking for value and a challenging but more manageable hike, the 2-day/1-night trek might be the better choice. Overall though, I 100% recommend Tatasya Homestay if you're heading to Rinjani. They took such good care of me, and I’m grateful for everything they did.

Exactly what you get for the price: comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, hot shower, simple breakfast. Super nice owners! After our Rinjani hike we stopped to ask if we could pay a small fee to take a shower and they let us into one room to clean ourselves. So nice of them! Plus the view of the rice terraces and mountains is so nice!

This is a rustic and beautiful homestay in a remote area along the river in Senaru. It’s a perfect location to wake up to the sounds of birds and the river below. The room has just what you need and not more, clean sheets, running water, and a mosquito net. The porch is perfect for watching sunrise or sunset over the Ricefield. Joe and his family are lovely. The food was very good and so was our evening conversation. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic local experience in North Lombok.

Stunning location set amongst rice padi fields and run by an amazing local women. My partner and I had the best curry and rendang of our Indonesian trip. The place is super peaceful and great to base yourself for the hike up to Rinjani or for day trips around the area. Even a quick 1 hr sunset stroll the rice padis was incredible. 💯 reccomend.

Beautiful place! The staff were so lovely and went out of their way to help us - they prepared an early breakfast for us, and we were able to leave our stuff in our room when we went on an overnight hiking trip to Mt Rinjani, and they booked a car to get us back to the harbour. They also have scooter rental and can arrange tours. Worth noting that the location is not actually in Senaru but the village adjacent to it (around 20 minutes by drive), not much around the hotel however it's a lovely area!
