Our stay was truly exceptional. The property's location provided us with stunning vistas of palm trees and the mesmerizing sunsets over the Gili lslands, just a short walk up the hill. Their two charming dogs and adorable cat added a delightful touch to our stay. Jeanie and Josh's hospitality was outstanding. They cooked a delicious dinner for us and went above and beyond to assist us with additional arrangements during our stay. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!"

It's in the Midst of the jungle and especially the host Ameer is very kind and passionate, he took us to river swim in the jungle. And then a 2 hour long jungle mountain hike for beautiful secret waterfalls. The stay is really quiet, her mom cools really good gado gado.

Comfortable bed, clean (and new!) room, and exceptional staff. I stayed here while overcoming a severe bout of food poisoning and am so grateful for Zaki and his wife Herlina for checking in on me and treating me like family. I wish I had a bigger appetite while I stayed here because the food was incredible, be sure to get the breakfast!

Beautiful, brand new units with loads of space! The staff were more than friendly and accommodating. Yayan helped me with check-in, invited me on an outing with him and his friends, and also cooked meals for me. I can’t recommend this place enough!

My stay at Khoo Villa was saved by being able to move to the larger front Villa from the back one so that I had WiFi for getting work done, AC, and hot water in the shower - not that it mattered. The owner was delightful and took me into town one afternoon on her motorcycle; me, about twice the height as she was. The location is far from town but walkable. For me, the highlight was staying in the little village and walking around of an evening chatting with the locals. To right of the T-intersection with the main road, Warung Sempuma 2 was an excellent place for local dishes and there's a convenient store with snacks, water, ATM just beyond.

The stay here was truly amazing, the room was very large comfortable and clean. This is a new facility with free Wi-Fi, Air Con, and Hot water. The location is very nice in a local area surrounded by nature and peace. This is definitely the best place I have stayed in Indonesia. Besides the nice atmosphere and accommodations the staff is what really makes this place extra special here you are not just customer you are really treated like family. The staff was always available to help with whatever needs you may have from recommendations for daily activities to cooking the best local food I have had in Indonesia. I truly felt like part of the family on several nights we even had a family style dinner together at the table with other guest I cannot recommend this place enough 10/10

Our stay at The Jiwa was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely relaxed. The villa is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views, an amazing pool, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it hard to leave. We loved waking up to the calm surroundings,(like Gili Islands) enjoying the sunsets, and simply disconnecting from everyday life. The Jiwa gave us exactly what we were looking for: comfort, privacy, and unforgettable memories.

A beautiful and well-designed resort located in the northern part of Lombok. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful and relaxing. The resort offers everything you might need – there’s an excellent restaurant, a pool, a spa, and they can arrange laundry service, scooter rentals, or transport to the town, the nearby Lombok Wildlife Park, or the harbour. They also helped us organize snorkeling trips to the Gili Islands, which was a great experience. The accommodation consists of small bungalows that are cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The staff were kind, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant staff were especially friendly, making us feel truly welcome. We felt really comfortable here and genuinely enjoyed our stay.

Loved this property. Dorms were really comfortable, with much needed a/c. Pool was clean, plenty of space to chill around. Staff very responsive and caring. Loved the food and ambiance. One of the best dorm I have stayed in.

A Truly Memorable Stay at Villa Kayu – Gili Air June 2025 What an incredible experience! We stayed at Villa Kayu on Gili Air for my wife’s 50th birthday celebrations, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by Gary, the owner, and Dian, the general manager. Their hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The villa itself is beautifully maintained—spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and offering everything we could possibly need for a comfortable retreat. Dian went above and beyond to arrange a fantastic boat trip for my wife's birthday, allowing us to snorkel at several stunning spots where we encountered vibrant marine life, including plenty of fish and turtles. Upon returning to the villa, we were touched by the thoughtful gesture from the staff—a lovely handwritten note, delicious cookies, and a stunning birthday cake made entirely out of fresh fruit. It was the perfect way to end the day! While the villa is not beachfront, it remains an excellent value for money given its quality and the exceptional service provided. We would rate the villa a solid 9, with the staff deserving an unwavering 10 for their warmth, attentiveness, and generosity. The hospitality of the Indonesian people has truly left us in awe, making this trip an experience we will cherish forever. Lovely room and garden. Great breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. The location is perfect, very close to the beach with good snorkeling spots and to the “center” of this small island at the same time.
