Had a wonderful stay at Ichhamati Homestay, Bolpur , adjacent to Shantiniketan.The place is neat, clean, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful greenery with a lovely garden. The hosts are very cooperative and hospitable. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. A perfect place for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Everything inside the premises was decorated with perfection. Every where we looked it was packed with greenery. Their swimming pool was Marvelous as it was quite long and beautiful. The most amazing part is how well maintained such a big premises is. Absolutely nothing out of place. And the staff were really friendly and sipportive.

Behaviour of the hostess, she is very helpful.

Arrangements in he room except the dunlopillow on the bed (too high and thick) and hospitality of the owner

It is really difficult to actually write about what I liked as there are so many. However, few things were so good that I will always remember. Firstly, the food. It was by far the best Bengali cooking I have ever tasted. We did not expect that tge food will be this delicious and were caught off guard when we actually tasted it. Secondly, The hospitality. The property was managed by Debnarayan dada and his family. They showed what true Bengali 'আতিথেয়তা' meant. They almost felt like my own relatives who's home we were visting. Thirdly, the serenity. Absolutely amazing. The greenery, the sunlight, the architecture, the slow and calm environment consists the true spirit of Shantiniketan. To sum it up, the total experience was something mesmerising. Totally recommended.

Smooth checkin / checkout, prime location, nice host and care taker, beautiful vintage Bengali style house, rooftop and garden, over all very nice experience. Ohh.. last but not the least the in-house pet Rocky is super cute.

●Another amazing trip of us: 1.Our stay was really awesome, that banglow was the best homestay in that price in such place and that house was surrounded by so many greenery all over the overview of the homestay was soo soothing for my memory. I loved that stay. This hotel was one of the reason behind this amazing trip. 2.Next comes to food,very hygienic and healthy like home. 3.Service was moderate. Well,compare to a urban place I can rate it 5 out of 10. 4.And the last thing the owner of the place was sooo humble and a good human being. We loved the place. We'll come again sir,thanks a lot for the hospitality.
