Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Okayama

We absolutely loved our stay in this unique, beautiful old house. It was incredibly clean and came equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is fantastic—situated right on a scenic canal and just a short walk to the train station. The town itself is quiet and has a wonderful, slow pace of life that we fell in love with. Sitting in the backyard by the cherry tree was a highlight. We only wish we could have stayed for a month! Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and experience the local charm.

It was a 10 minute walk to the station and convenience store. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Plenty of outlets for charging. There was plenty of room both in the bedrooms and living space. While not immediately available the host called us back with someone who understands English pretty quickly.

More Airbnb than hotel, but it was very homey, which made it more comfortable.

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful house and I cannot recommend it enough. The space is not that big but it is really well organised. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked our own food there. Right outside there is also a washing machine which was super convenient. If you come with a car there is a parking spot right outside and it is also possible to use the bikes but we did not have time for it unfortunately. The area where the apartment is located is also very quiet which made for a great night sleep. The communication with the host was perfect and there is a very convenient self check in mechanism. Overall this accommodation deserves all the stars I could give. 100% recommended if you are staying in Okayama!
