Was insane, the pool clear, the food very well, and the views in front of the sea was the best part

Just a really nice and quiet spot. Tucked away, big clean rooms. Bikes to borrow and a nice traditional breakfast. Air con works well. Good Wi-Fi and very dark rooms ( with exception of air con when on) air con is a little noisy but the place is really pretty quiet overall.

This rating requires some context. I agree with other reviewers saying the facility has been neglected over a long time. Had my wife been traveling with me, she would’ve had a good bit to say about that- not favorable. But she’s not here. For a solo traveler here for the surf, this place is fantastic. My room was large (admittedly dilapidated). They have security cameras all over the general area, this place is really safe and secure. My door was 5 steps from the sand and the break was straight out from the hotel. They serve food which I found adequate and very reasonably priced. They were very friendly and accommodating. For my preference (location and proximity to surf over any desire for luxury) this place is an undiscovered gold mine. If price is a concern, you are unlikely to find a beach front accommodation anywhere near this price in your lifetime. Pick your priority.

The place is simply awesome. Not to mention the local is right in the heart and soul of Las Peñitas. Best people over , shout out to Gabriel (surf instructors and Duart , Larry if you want the best late night mix .

The host Bryan was a super good guy. If there was anything we needed he took care of it.

Everything. Quite and peaceful. Located on the Pacific with a nice sea breeze from the patio n hammocks. The manager Lanier, was way beyond helpful, becoming our friend and advisor. Always asking if he could make us more comfortable. The place is kept super clean! . Easy walk to Las Penitas if you need to mingle with a lot of tourists.
