Waimanu guest house was a wonderful scenic escape from the city. The house was spacious and the host provided everything we needed including wood for a fire and the fresh eggs were a surprise. The beds and rooms were comfy and the view was fantastic.

Loved the hot tub after hiking!! Big place for a family to stay. Might need to change out master bedroom bed it was not as comfortable as other beds. Had good cookware for cooking.

We had a fantastic stay at Mt Cook View Motel! The location is ideal, with beautiful views of the snowy mountains and perfect weather to enjoy them. The owner was incredibly amiable, going above and beyond by preparing our room in advance—he even turned on the heater and lights to welcome us, making it feel cozy right from the start. We appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out times, which made our stay even more relaxing. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a heater and an electric blanket, perfect for the chilly evenings. Parking was a breeze, right in front of our room. The owner also suggested a great spot to visit nearby, which really made our trip memorable. We highly recommend Mt Cook View Motel for its warm hospitality, convenience, and incredible mountain views!
