This was a wonderful and unexpected stay. Everything about my accommodations was flawless, but the best part of staying there is getting to meet and talk with Harvey King, the owner. We had wonderful chats, and as I was away from home for several weeks and missing my dog, it was so nice to spend time with Gunner, Harvey’s lovable canine companion!

The location was beautiful - very peaceful and quiet with lovely garden features eg pond with fountain and outdoor covered entertaining area. Would most definitely recommend to others and stay again.

Loved that we were away from other houses but had the security of the coded gate at the driveway entrance. The home is very comfortable, modern, and well stocked with extra blankets, utensils, etc. A short drive to Rangiora and Kaiapoi, less than 30 mins to Christchurch Airport.

Classy Modern Unit close to Airport, Shops and Bus is located in Christchurch, just 4.1 miles from Canterbury Museum and 4.3 miles from Christchurch Art Gallery.

Wonderful,cosy place to stay. Close to everything we needed,love Bishopdale many happy childhood memories especially of the Elephant park across the road and now thanks to Liz (host) friendly local knowledge I have bought the 'Elephant Park' book😊.which by the way must be very popular as the local book shop said it keeps selling out!!
