My room was fine, the bed comfortable, and looked right out on the sea....the staff were extremely friendly, and there was a very good restaurant close by....it was close to Portobelo, and the buses stop right in front ....thanks for a great stay!

It's a beautiful place to just relax. And very close to many other attractions. Just up the road, hope in a boat, and head off to an island and snorkel. Exallent host!

great location. extremely clean. air conditioning. hot water. great grocery store. shopping. restaurants. safe at night and day. just do not go down dimly lit streets with no people at night. free zone wholesales stuff. great staff. use their recommended taxi to get places.

Playa Escondida is a beautiful resort. The beach is simply terrific. The resort has 3 restaurants, a bakery and bars. There is also a shop. Our stay at Playa Escondida could not have been more pleasurable. After a long drive from the airport (due to missing a crucial turn), our gracious hosts were very understanding and waiting for us when we finally arrived. The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable, The entire property is beautiful with two excellent restaurants and a gelato shop. With the Tiendita, there was no need to leave for anything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even helping to change a flat tire on our departure day. The beach and the water were spectacular, especially in the morning when the sun was coming up. Snorkeling revealed plentiful fish all around the rocks and kayaks were excellent for exploring the bay and the mangrove shoreline. Everyone in our family loved the stay and look forward to coming back.
