Very cute hotel with nice staff and great location right on the river with a small view of the Ollantaytambo ruins. Great price!

We loved sitting in the courtyard in the afternoons and evenings reading, the gardens were beautiful. A morning highlight was the fresh orange juice with breakfast. It was a great location in a lovely town. We would recommend it to others.

Location is magnificent. My second time staying in this hotel in Ollaytamtambo. I stayed on the 3rd floor in 2019, three beds. This time alone, I chose the 2nd floor room, with views like no other. You will wake up to both sets of ruins. To the sun down. was an extraordinary room. beds comfortable. service excellent. Hotel location is perfec. Across from a restaurant tha serves Trucha / trout dish that is excellent. This hotel stay was great. Choose 2nd floor or third floor rooms. Worth it. Service perfect, profesional and friendly. only 1 block from the plaza and few blooks from the tran station.

The whole experience was exceptional! We arrived in the dark & when we woke in the morning and saw the incredible view, it took our breath away. Comfortable beds, furniture was lovely, complete kitchen, everything worked well. Staff were always available to answer any questions. They arranged our pickup from Cusco. They got up with us at 5:15 in the morning to walk with us to get a taxi to the train station. We would highly recommend staying here. Exceptional.

Willka Lodge, Ollantaytambo — a wonderful stay with unforgettable views Willka Lodge was one of the most beautiful and memorable stays of our Peru trip. The lodge overlooks the magnificent ruins of Ollantaytambo, with the mountains rising all around, and the balcony itself is a perfect place to sit quietly and take in the beauty of the Sacred Valley. Morning light on the mountains and the ruins from the lodge was simply magical. What made the stay even more special was the lady who manages the lodge almost entirely by herself. She was extremely kind, helpful, polite and well-mannered, and went out of her way to make us comfortable. We communicated mostly through Google Translate, but warmth does not need a language — every interaction was pleasant and thoughtful. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was homely, and the breakfast was wonderful. For anyone staying in Ollantaytambo, especially those who want a peaceful place with superb views, a lovely balcony, and genuinely caring hospitality, Willka Lodge is highly recommended.

Katty the hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Felt more like a homestay rather than a hostel. Highly recommend for a stay in ollantaytambo. She even gave advices on avoiding tourist traps and other recommendedations. It was completely worth spending two nights in Ollantaytambo, rather than rushing through this gem of a town between Cusco and Machu Picchu Pueblo (formerly Aguas Calientes). The hotel is conveniently located halfway between the train station and the center of town, both a short walk away. The rooms overlook a beautiful garden with a backdrop of the spectacular mountain scenery. The hotel is family-operated and all the family members are super friendly. As a nice surprise, the hotel also turned out to be an excellent restaurant, possibly the best in town (we only have two others to compare to).

The room was big and clean. The owners were very welcoming and provided a good breakfast. Also they provided us with great information where to go around Ollantaytambo.

Scenery is amazing and very calm. The hosts were flexible, helpful with anything we might need. The beds were comfortable, the blankets warm, the shower hot, the breakfast fresh and extremely yummy, and the shared kitchen is a plus :)
