Such a great village The apartment had a great view of the beach swimming area on the river and the goat herdsmen with their dogs as flock going up the mountain early for grazing… Good tip would be to by food as the place had a kitchen Best home made cheese and such from the original mini super market!! So close also for swimming in the Lagoon further up the mountain towards Torre

Location in the middle of the mountain is great, near shops that have very good cheese and other local products. Also very close to the mountain paths.

The location of house is great, very central ( which is easy since the village is quite compact ). The surroundings are very calm, with no cafes or restaurants in the specific street, contributing for a relax stay during the day or night. The facilities inside the house are good ( air conditioned and pellet's fire place pellet ), free wifi, and the beds are very comfortable.

Spacious apartment with a great view and tranquility. We felt very welcomed by the owner and she was very responsive. Nice location if you are looking to hike in Serra da Estrala mountains !!

I liked the Location of sabugueiro within the Serra da Estrela . The house was great for a few days and had everything we needed

A very beautiful and peaceful village, and it was an amazing experience. The chalet was cozy and well-maintained, surrounded by stunning nature that made the whole stay feel relaxing and refreshing. It’s a perfect getaway spot for families and groups with kids—calm, safe, and full of charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a natural and serene setting!

Perfect host, made us feel so much at home. It's a great place for a family, quite but still so close to everything you need. The place is brand new so everything was in amazing condition and the area is beautiful.
