Well located having established the location with the owner prior to arrival by bus. We commenced walking the Camino Nascente from Crato. With a nearby supermarket & eateries and a well-equipped kitchen we had everything we needed & it suited our purpose for the 1 night. The unit is spacious with 3 bedrooms, old-style homely decor, clean and comfortable.

The hospitality offered by Mr Jose was exceptional. We arrived later than expected at 6pm on a Sunday walking the Camino Nascente. Nothing was a problem for Mr Jose who assisted us to make a dinner reservation (good food & value at Alameda Restaurant suited us). The little house on 3 levels was as advertised, clean, central and good value. Perfect for our purpose with a self-service stamp for our pilgrim passport which was a nice surprise. Bicycles are available together with hats should you stay longer! Everything to make a stay comfortable. We wished we could stay longer & explore the town & area from Casa Medieval da Nisa. We found the nearby Cafe Dom Dinis open at 6:30am for a good breakfast & great hospitality before continuing on our walk.

Beautiful home, incredible view and a wonderful hostess. It's a place you can cool offer a hot day in the pool, watch the sunset, cuddle with dogs and cats and have a peaceful night's sleep. Love the breakfast too- and thankful our hostess could move the time a little earlier so we could get to our Rail Hike on time.

We stayed in a bungalow Grifo, which was divided into 2 parts: an entrance hall and a bedroom, in addition to a double bed there was a bunk bed for children. The room was clean and bright. The view from the room was amazing. To each bungalow goes its own path, so that visitors from other bungalows will not walk in front of your windows. The territory is quite large and well maintained, in the main building there is a restaurant, viewing terrace. The spa area under the restaurant has a room with Jacuzzi, hamam (really hot, It would be better if there was a cold water tap in the hamam) and sauna (each room with panoramic windows). The breakfast is good and varied. A few kilometers from the hotel by car stunning trails down to the river.
