Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Şiclod

You stay in a beautiful reconditioned traditional home, with a large garden with a very nice view of the hills & mountains. You may find here all you need. Everything is or looks like new. Hosts are very kind and helpful. Kitchen/bathroom well equipped. You might need to be careful with last road section, between Atid and Siclod, which is very poor, to say so. Some works are in progress now. Also, be aware of the narrow and slippery roads in village, you may have some troubles due to ice/snow in winter. Here also the host was very helpful, adding some sand on the road. I hope to solve all these, as the house is extremely beautiful. Also, if you need some local food, hosts are again very helpful - we got some fresh milk, honey from locals. Be aware, otherwise, that you need to bring 99% of what you need, as there is only a very small and not so good store in the village. You can buy also from the other villages before Siclod.

We’ve spent 4 nights in this little and quite village, in a traditional house, that was very excellent restored, keeping its authentic style, a unique mix of old and new, beautifully decorated. The house is super well equipped, you have absolutely everything you need in all the rooms (including outside, woods and grill area), it was very clean, comfortable and we felt very cozy. The beds are very comfortable, all amenities in the bathrooms and everything you need for cooking in the kitchen (if you want to). The heating system is through the fireplace in the living room, absolutely amazing. At our arrival, the host welcomed us and explained us everything, very nice and helpful, moreover, the fire was already done, as well as everything for the hot tube and sauna prepared. The last 5-6 km to the house are through a quite bumpy road, but nothing to worry about (the host already informed us about it), slowly you can arrive with every time of car. Also, it’s recommendable to shop in the bigger cities around, the village has only a small local shop. You don’t have phone signal (which was no problem for us, just helped disconnect easier), just wifi at the location, working perfectly fine. If you are looking for a wonderful, quite place to relax and to recharge batteries, this is the place, we definitely recommend this location and for sure we will pay another visit. The hosts were very friendly. The room had an attached kitchenette. Decoration was authentic for the region.

We got a detached little house that was very clean and very spacious. The beds were confortable and big. The backyard gives quiet and calm as there is a little river going by. The staff was friendly and spoke very good Romanian. Will stay there again and reccomend it. Thank you!
