What a beautiful region! The house sits in a lovely valley looking towards the karst cliffs. The house is equipped with everything you need to cook. The water in the shower was hot. The wood burning stove was very comfy for someone like me who doesn’t have one at home. Falling asleep to the crackling of the wood was comforting. I slept well both nights I was there. It was cozy and cute. There is a market just a few minutes walk away. It has meat/eggs/bread/limited fruits and veggies. They also accept cards. The access to hike Piatra Secuiului is easy. Just walk a few minutes through the town and you are on the trail. There are trails and an old fortress on the other side of the valley that you can see once you start hiking. I only stayed two nights, if you wanted to do a longer stay it seems like there are ample hiking opportunities. The hosts were both friendly and welcoming.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, they did their best to make us feel good and adapted to our needs and requests. Lots to do, pool, games, playground, living room, many spaces to spend time both indoors and outdoors, relaxation areas, basketball, badmington... Could store our own food and drinks in a guest fridge. Also ate during dinners, food was good, homemade, and received extra for those of us who needed more or for whom the portion was small. Had breakfast included, liked the variety of the food and drinks available.

Everything about our stay at Pyramids Haven was amazing! The location in the Apuseni mountains is breathtaking and offers the perfect, peaceful retreat from city life. The cabins and grounds are incredibly modern, well-designed, and spotless. Try the massage chair in the living room! The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is quite big. The beautiful terrace made the stay so relaxing. A massive thank you to the host, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and communicative throughout our entire stay. Can't wait for the pool!
