Everything! It was about 5-7 minutes of walking and you are on the lake. Air con was nice when we needed.

The hosts were amazing, a truly wonderful experience. They waited for us at the property (and we were late due to a lot of traffic on the road) and welcomed us wholeheartedly! They even brought/made us delicious food and drinks. They really made our stay feel better, it made such a difference compared to our vacations anywhere else. The house has everything you need, including grill equipment. It is quiet and relaxing, just what you need to disconnect from the everyday world.

We had a great stay at Lake Zaovine! The location is absolutely beautiful – surrounded by nature, peaceful, and next to the lake. Tara National Park is stunning, and waking up to the sounds of the forest was a real highlight. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming – special thanks to Mr. Dragan for his kindness and hospitality. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Would definitely come back!

The scenery is beautiful! The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The host, Goran, was welcoming and we did not want to leave! Tara national park is beautiful and the balcony to the lake is wonderful! We fully recommend and hope to come back!

Absolutely perfect place to stay while visiting Tara National Park. A very warm welcome from the host. We had everything we needed, the house was spotless as well as the kitchen and all the equipment. Highly recommend.

For anyone looking for a nature getaway, this is the perfect spot. Peaceful, authentic. The view is out of this world. Nikolina is a great host, we felt very welcome, and definitely plan to visit again.

We loved our stay in the Villa Montana with a beautiful view to the lake. Villa itself is very modern with everything you need inside. Leaving room with a kitchen (with all the needed staff) and terrace, bedroom. two bathrooms and a outside barbeque zone. Wifi is stable. The host is easy to communicate via Whats up. You should expect long distances to other places (about an hour to Mokra Gora and Zlatibor) and definitely need a car.

A beautiful house with an even more beautiful view of Zaovine lake. The hosts are wonderful, in the same yard as the house, but you have privacy all the time and they are there if you need anything. We liked that there is no Wi-Fi in the house, allowing you to truly disconnect, unwind, and enjoy your stay here and the nature. A friendly suggestion to future visitors: if you enjoy drinking wine and spending quiet nights admiring the moonlight and the lake, consider bringing a wine opener. While I believe the hosts have one in their house, we didn't want to bother them at midnight to bring us one :) ) We liked our stay here and we will definitely come back.

Jelena was super friendly and nice. Kitchen was fully equipped. Location was accurate, nice yard with exceptional view of Lake Zaovine. Our baby (8 month old) had a wonderful time.

We recently spent 3 at Drvene kuće ŠUŠKA, and it was genuinely one of the most memorable stays we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, everything surpassed our expectations. The place is beautifully crafted all wood, cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living area was warm and inviting, and the bedrooms were comfortable with large windows framing stunning mountain views. Our mornings on the terrace, sipping coffee while gazing at the valley and lake, were unforgettable. Location is outstanding. Perched in nature yet within reach of beautiful trails, Zaovine Lake, and local attractions, it’s ideal for both peace and exploration. We loved having gorgeous walking paths close by and being immersed in serenity away from city noise. But what truly sets this place apart is the host, Dragana. She was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond welcoming us, sharing local tips, and even surprising us with homemade treats. Her hospitality elevated the entire experience. If you’re seeking a tranquil escape in the Serbian mountains, one that balances comfort, character, and nature: Drvene kuće ŠUŠKA is a gem. We are already planning our return!
