Great location! The house had everything we needed. Four of us enjoyed our stay. The neighbors are pleasant. We would stay here again!

Bliss! Great communication, from the host and a lovely welcome gift of fruit, chocolate and wine on arrival. Spacious cottage with incredible views.

The location was so pretty albeit a bit remote. But it was the remoteness that was the reward! The washing machine was a blessing.!the dryer is a standing rack, so it took some time to dry.(the description said the house had a dryer🤪)

All is well. Comfy bed, clean wc-shower, fine breakfast. The gym was extra I guess, I couldn't find a way in.

Our stay at Gostilna Zolnir was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! “Rok” was very helpful to us, and we really enjoyed the great service he gave us!

We stayed here on one of the last nights of our honeymoon and it was so nice to be able to relax in the pool, eat really (really) good food, and look at the spectacular views. Would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Kostanjevica na Krki and B and B Castanea are gems of Slovenia. The island village is idyllic, Castanea is spotlessly beautiful situated in a very old building; and the nearby museum specializing in Slovenian artists is a treasure that must be visited. Castanea’s hosts are kind, generous, knowledgeable, and helpful. These are all reasons I’ve visited 3 times while bike touring.
