Small and modern apartment equipped with kitchenette. Perfect for a short stay. Restaurants were closed on the day we were there but we could easily cook something at the apartment and eat in the nice terrace.

This place is a hidden gem! Don't question staying here, you will not be disappointed! The owners have lovingly renovated this 200 year old home with modern amenities without losing the heart and soul of the history. They have created a gift for those of us lucky enough to visit. The hosts are generous, warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. They shared great information to make our visit to Slovenia that much better! And, once you've experienced the space, you'll want to run to Metka's store to bring home some of her artwork. Truly this is a little piece of heaven you want to experience!

The apartment was clean and quiet. We slept so well. I used WhatsApp to communicate with the host and they were welcoming and kind. The free parking and ability to view the beautiful city from the terrace and then walk up in 10min was perfect!

Everything was great! Food, service, accomodation, location, atmosphere…more than expected. We will come back for sure.

The host is super friendly, the place is beautiful - both the house and the surrounding village and hills. Highly recommended.

Nicely renovated apartment, but small and tight forc6. Pricey for what you get

We had an excellent stay at Samson and the Lilo. We enjoyed the fruit bowl, snacks and wine left for us (this was an unexpected and lovely surprise). We really felt like we had an authentic experience staying in a small countryside village with so much history and character and appreciated the kindness and help extended to us by Guy and Polona. We highly recommend this property as well as hiking to the top of the hill to see the chapel and phenomenal views of Vipava!

It is a spacious apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners met us when we arrived. They live on the first floor and are friendly and helpful.

Beautifully appointed, new and fresh. Very comfortable and very well equipped. Very quiet, safe and secure. Beautiful surroundings. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the welcome bottle of wine provided.

We loved this small town that is easily walkable (hills). We suggest parking first at the first parking area before considering driving in town. Amazing host and neighbor. Kitchen well stocked with appliances, spices, oils, coffee, tea and utensils. Felt like home. We could easily stay here for months.

Vipavski Kriz is a small village atop of a small hill surrounded by grape vines. The location of the apartment was in the village. It is very modern with an excellent fittings and lay out. Car access to the village is limited so is very quiet. We arrived a little later than expected but the owner came out (despite the very rainy weather!) to let us in and welcomed us to the apartment. We had breakfast included which was really very good and prepared by the owner. On arrival you drive up to the apartment to drop your luggage but overnight parking is offsite in a small car park about 5 mins walk away from the apartment.
