The best were the couple that ran the place... so kind and accommodating. The retreat itself was quiet and relaxing...one of the best getaways ever. Perfect location, the room was stacked with many amenities such as liquid refreshments and snacks, plus the shower was divine as well as the beds. I have never felt like any hotel has been like a second home before, but because of the hosts I definitely feel that way about this amazing place. I highly recommend it...you truly will not find a more welcome staff (they are more than staff in my eyes, but friends now, after an only 2 day stay) or a more hospitable one. This is truly a hidden gem and I look forward to staying there again. If I could give it more than 10 stars I would...

The restaurant and bar staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, sweet kind and just exceeded my expectations. Everything else not so much. Front desk was snotty rude and arrogant. The beds near the pool were torn, dirty and disgusting. There was garbage everywhere. Bees bugs, and fleas in the hotel room. I probably would never come back here. And it’s a shame because the concept is really cool if it was executed properly.

“Me and my husband stayed in this beautiful hotel for our anniversary and we loved it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The welcome bag was so special, the suites were so spacious, felt like we could have stayed there long term. It felt like there were really personal touches and an effort to make this hotel more special and unique. Amazingly spacious yard for running around with a toddler.
