They were very kind and welcoming. The facilities overall are very nice. Just a few minutes from town you are in a bubble of nature and tranquility, with animals wandering very near, but very comfortable and without disturbing. We were cared and provided confort to appreciate the place, with a fire place to stay warm. We enjoyed very much.

If it were possible to give a rating higher than "excellent," we would give it to Hippo Water Lodge without a second thought. We only stayed here for one night, but this experience was the absolute highlight and most memorable part of our journey. A magical place for complete immersion in nature! But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible warmth and care of the owner. When we were leaving, he was genuinely concerned that our small car might not handle the rain-washed, muddy dirt road. He didn't just give advice—he personally escorted us in his 4x4 through the most difficult and muddy section to ensure we wouldn't get stuck and could proceed with confidence. This gesture is beyond praise and shows a genuine commitment to guests. Thank you so much for this little paradise and for your incredible hospitality. We left not just rested, but with a feeling that we were truly welcome and cared for. We will definitely be back for a longer stay

Loved the location, loved the environment as it felt homely, safe, spacious, facilities

The Magtree lodge is fantastic and really secluded and the surrounding nature and wildlife (giraffes!) is stunning. Loved the layout of the place and the kitchen had everything we needed too cook our meals. Really love the fact that the fireplace also doubles as a braai, for rainy days. Absolutely love the warm welcome from Craig and the recreational area. Love the fact that I didn't have to worry about getting wood for the braai and fireplace fire. While we were there on mostly rainy days, we made use of the splash pool which would come in really handy when you're visiting in the summer. Also dogs! If you love dogs, this is the place for you!

I enjoyed my stay with my family at Three on Taurus. The host was very responsive and accomodating, allowing early check-in and providing a nice crib for my infant. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable with a nice green area outside. I would highly recommend this location for any family looking for a comfortable stay.

We truly appreciate your business owner being hand on, he made us feel welcome, we fault him on anything... The venue and the room itself was very comfortable and homey... We had a short stay but a very pleasant one...
