The house is located near the center, just about 5min walking. The family didn't speak much English, but they were very nice and we were able to communicate anyways. The room was exactly as the pictures, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok.

Fantastic! The hotel has been completely upgraded and updated throughout recently, within the past year. Everything is brand-new: beds, furniture, appliances, electric, HVAC, plumbing, and bathroom. It all looks and works great. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel is perfectly located by the main pedestrian promenade, Bulevardi Republika, yet easily accessible by taxi and at the base of Old Town (Mangalem) and the castle. So one can step out to take the evening stroll, the xhiro, on the promenade, after exploring the other nearby parts of Berat. It's close to restaurants, cafes, shopping, markets, and a bridge to Gorica. I highly recommend Dyrmo Hotel, and gladly rate it as 10/10, Exceptional. It's also a local, family-run hotel with welcome and welcoming attention to detail and high standards, so that's a big plus.

The location was a close drive to Berat old town. The balcony had a nice view of the mountains. The room was new and had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple and great. Service was very attentive.

Walkable distance to the center of Berat, this wonderful guesthouse was a welcoming, safe and comfortable sanctuary for my friend and I to rest our heads. We were greeted upon arrival and given information on the property and amenities. The guesthouse contained a beautiful kitchen for one to prepare a meal and the patio garden invited lodgers to enjoy some fresh citrus. Truly a fantastic stay and my friend and I are sincerely grateful for this stay during our journey to this gorgeous city. :-)

This is absolutely the best place to stay in Berat and probably even the best place to stay in all of Albania. The breakfast here is absolutely exceptional and the whole family who runs this place are extremely nice and welcoming.
