What an absolute dream of a find! We were in a pinch after a last minute cancellation by another owner. Las Veraneras took us in short notice and provided amazing service. We were blown away by the attentiveness of this family-run hotel. Spacious rooms, secure, clean, and friendly staff. This is a new business and, as frequenters of this beautiful little town, we were so impressed and cannot wait to return!

I had such an amazing stay here—honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The place itself was exactly what I needed: clean, comfortable, and in a great location to explore Cartago. What really made the difference was Huber. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. He gave me awesome recommendations on things to do around the area, He also helped me figure out transportation, especially with buses, which made getting around so much easier and stress-free. The views from the upper part are also amazing! Thanks to him, I was able to explore Cartago in a way that felt smooth and well-planned without being overwhelming. I truly felt taken care of during my stay. I would 100% recommend staying here if you’re visiting Cartago—you won’t regret it!

The location is close to Vulcan Irazu, making it very convenient to get to and from the park. The cabin is nicely laid out and comfortable. The kitchen facilities are basic, but we were only there to sleep and set out for exploration, so we weren't preparing our meals there. The cabin has a loft that has ladder-like stairs to get up to it, so it is not for those with mobility issues, and families with young children need to be cautioned. The owners were extremely warm and welcoming. They couldn't have been more hospitable
