It was last minute decision to see the famous white rocks at the high season so we were lucky to find any accomodation in the area at all. Normally we prefer privat bathroom, but after all this one worked perfectly (shared with the owners). There are only three rooms on the floor, so if you travel in the pack you may enjoy it fully. Toilet and "dry kitchenette" make it pretty comfortable. We liked the couple ruling the business very much. 20 minutes distance from the main attraction let us see it in the eve and in the moring next day. Highly recommeneded. Small hidden beach is reachable by car by the way.

We stayed at Hivdegaard Mon as part of our cycling trip from Amersfoort, Netherlands to Copenhagen, Denmark, and this was absolutely the most enjoyable place along the entire route. As cycle tourers, some of the services that exceeded our expectations were the ample breakfast, the assurance of dinner for guests, easy cycling distance to Mons Klint, the comfort food served for all of the meals, the outstanding hospitality of the hosts, and the ability to store our bicycles right by our room.

The location of the light house can not be beat. It is on the edge of a cliff within walking distance of the Møns Klint GeoCenter. Opposite the cliff there are farms where you can see deer and birds. There is also a bronze age burial mound nearby. The stars at night are not to be beat!
