The host Luis was so warm and welcoming nothing too much trouble . Very helpful . Very dog friendly. So close to Santander Ferry a gem of a find . An amazing property and gardens with a lake. Rooms are in adjoining wing . Quite rural and definitely a little bit of paradise . Was so calming and peaceful . Would highly recommend.

20 miles from Santander Port in Torrelavega, Casa Velarde features accommodations with access to beauty services and public bath. Guests may go for a swim in the pool with a view.

Lovely historic home tucked into a neighborhood with narrow, walled streets. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Small family restaurant within walking distance served an early dinner just for us. Tasty free range chicken with rice and vegetables.

The property was more beautiful than the listing photos suggested, and it was closer to Santillana del Mar (and the ocean) than I expected. The attic was really great for the kids, and the other bedrooms were spacious. Living spaces were beautiful, and the balcony/porch was awesome. Cool garden too.

Located in the heart of Oyambre Nature Reserve, Posada La Vieja Escuela is a renovated school building of La Revilla with mountain-view rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas.
