The food was amazing, it was an experience on it's own. Be prepared to eat things that you wouldn't usually eat and have a real authentic Japanese experience. I looked forward to breakfast every day, the food was beautiful and presented beautifully. The owners are super helpful and the location to the ski lifts is superb. We hadn't done an Onsen yet until we stayed at Shiga Kogen, so it was baptism by fire as the shared bathrooms is the Onsen, but don't be put off, it's an amazing experience and the Onsen is great after a day on the slopes.

Togari Inn Suites is a recently renovated apartment in Iiyama where guests can make the most of its garden and bar.

The suite was very clean and comfortable. The one we stayed in had 4 bedrooms plus one huge living room that was very well decorated. There were two bathrooms and an in-house Onsen at the inn. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the basic tools to cook such as a rice cooker, and a medium-sized stove, utensils. Even though the suite is located inside the inn, we still felt very private. All the rooms and the living area had good heaters. The door code and check-in instructions were provided via message on Booking.com. Overall, we were very happy with the stay!

Located a 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Hotel Housei offers free WiFi access, indoor/outdoor hot spring baths and air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms.

During our trip to Japan we stayed in 19 different accommodations, this was by far the most helpful & welcoming staff! The dinner was spectacular & the outdoor onsen was an extra special treat. Amazing shuttle service to the monkey park & to & from the train station, with a friendly & curtious driver. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Our favorite stay of our trip. Proprietors were so welcoming and accommodating for our every need. Amenities (shared and private onsen) were beautiful, and I enjoyed them every day of our stay! The location was ideal as it was just a minute away from both rentals and the gondola. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious every morning. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating any time we needed anything. We will return there when we visit Nozawa Onsen next time.
