Location was excellent. The room was clean and the kitchen was equipped with almost all necessary items to cook. Also the price was relatively low comparing to prices in Norway. Dogs are allowed, which was nice plus.

We appreciated that the hotel was a pet friendly one. Room #8's location for a pet family was a great choice.

It was my first time in a hostel and it exceeded my expectations! The dog was very welcome, the room incredibly clean(!), bed made 😊. The kitchen is awesome and has everything you need for a great stay. The location is extraordinary and very quiet. I definitely recommend and will hopefully be able to visit again. I also liked it a lot that no alcohol is allowed. Thank you Katrine and staff for a wonderful stay!

Location is perfect! Great breakfast, clean and modern rooms. Pets are welcome. You could open the window to get some fresh air and room was dark at night. Room was close to the elevator which is important with dogs.

It’s conveniently-located in city centre with great staff. We went to the cable car station late at night hoping to catch the midnight sun. Hotel staff Petter provided us with his personal number so that we can call him to ask for taxi call as we couldn’t do that ourselves. Also, it came with nice breakfast.

A super beautiful kocation and cabin has everything
Family run business with big focus on the guests
Wonderful little gazebo with fireplace and free wood- great for grilling
The center also offers turs- we did snowmobiling and dog sledding
Both were fantastic and the dog sledding was so fantastic to be close to the friendly dogs and mushing out in the nature

We stayed only one night in Scandic Kirkenes in the beginning of November but it was super nice. We traveled with our dog and there wasn’t any problem to book a room here.
There was a very pleasant receptionist who helped us a lot. We didn’t check all the facilities but it was a nice surprise to hear that they even have a swimming pool there.
Also I’d like to mention a good and quiet breakfast in the Scandic restaurant. The location of hotel is perfect too - it’s right in the centre of the town I’d say so we have some time to walk around.
