Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Volcanoes National Park

The property exceeded my expectations it’s much bigger , nicer and better overall. We had such a good stay with good wifi ( except when it rains but that is expected in Rwanda) the host was great and very communicative along with The guard. I would highly recommend this place to scribe looking to stay in the area.

The place is well equipped with all that one could need, it made me feel like I am home.

Staff was extremely kind and friendly -- stayed late to check me in and was ready with a huge smile at breakfast the next morning. The room was very large and extremely affordable. Both the room and the property as a whole had beautiful artwork throughout!

My stay at Ikoro Resort Musanze was truly excellent from start to finish, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. The resort is beautifully designed, blending nature, comfort, and local character in a very thoughtful way. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds, a good working area, reliable Wi-Fi, and a lovely terrace where you can relax while enjoying the garden views and bird sounds. The bathroom is especially impressive, designed with natural stone in a way that feels both modern and perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment. The gardens are stunning, lush, peaceful, and full of mature trees, birds, and a charming man-made stone waterfall that creates a calming atmosphere throughout the property. Sitting on the restaurant terrace for meals was a highlight, as you dine while overlooking the garden and listening to nature. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and well presented, with generous portions. Breakfast was delicious and served in a relaxed, welcoming setting. What truly makes Ikoro Resort special is the staff and management. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, always ready to help with a smile and making sure every detail of the stay was perfect. You genuinely feel welcomed and cared for. The location in Musanze is ideal, peaceful yet convenient, making it a perfect base for visiting Volcanoes National Park and exploring the surrounding area. Overall, Ikoro Resort offers an exceptional balance of tranquility, comfort, and authentic hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Musanze, whether for leisure, nature experiences, or relaxation. I will definitely return.
