I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Anahuac! The rooms were comfortable and the patio was beautifully decorated. The highlight of my stay was Maria’s breakfast. Beautiful entrance, lots of flowers outside and going in towards main door, clean home, shower with warm water, close to main park, blue and white church is 4-5 blocks away, main park is 1 block away. We were there on the weekend but around the main park there are a lot of restaurants and food options, there are small “tiendas” small shops as you walk along the blocks but there is one just 4-5 houses walking upwards from the house to the right where u can add minutes to ur phone plan or buy things like water, pop, chips etc. Beds are comfortable Place was spacious for our group of 5.

I booked the standard private room and it exceeded my expectations. Usually hostel private rooms are basic but this felt like a hotel, having a washing machine and dryer available was a lifesaver for my trip. The A/C worked perfectly although we didn't really need it because the weather was cool and the beds were super comfortable with sockets right next to them. The indoor and outdoor dining areas are lovely, and the whole property feels peaceful and safe. If you are looking for the social vibe of a hostel but the comfort and privacy of a hotel, this is the place.
