We lived that it was in a quieter village!

Very nice view of the Danube from the room balcony and the hotel balcony. Excellent breakfast, hostess very nice. Room comfortable and nice.

The owner upgraded our room as there was a free room with balcony. Supportive person, helped me also with a lot of other questions. Very good breakfast, nice location, helpful staff, we enjoyed our staying.

Authentic building and room style

Small, quiet location in a small village. Dinner was available for guests even though the restaurant was closed that day. Host and hostess are friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay. Even vehicle parking was off street.

The room was clean and comfortable with patio facing a vineyard which was very picturesque.

The breakfast was excellent, and my room overlooked the vineyard—one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever had. The family was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more special. A peaceful, memorable two-day escape that will stay with me for a long time.

We were glad to learn that it is also a small winery with great products, and enjoyed both the breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening.

It was in a great location—especially for people who are biking like we were. Schwallenabch is close to Spitz and felt very far from being overly touristy.

The location of this room was fantastic. We also loved the breakfast.

Comfortable, well appointed apartment in Spitz. Great location for exploring the local area. Close to Melk and other towns along the Danube.

Very old building. Nicely renovated. Clean. Comfortable. Very nice location. Short walk to the ruins and a nearby sandy beach for a lovely cold dip after a long day of biking😌

Spacious,bright, clean, well thought out floor plan, beautiful furnishings (including dishes and glassware provided),very functional appliances, a brand new apartment home in a historic building. A perfect location with views to die for from every single one of the many windows (upriver, downriver, vineyards, a ruin that is lit up at night), convenient to a grocery store and many restaurants and cafes, easy parking, and for those who want it, a bus stop and a ferry across the river both close by. A very kind and considerate host who also makes various products from his own orchards and pairs his commitment to tradition with a modern approach in both hosting and producing various drinks and foods from local fruit

Superbly located in a picturesque village, this property offers an ideal base for exploring the Wachau Valley. Housed in a distinctive historical building with its architectural charm thoughtfully preserved, it features well-appointed amenities throughout. The presence of an exterior elevator was an unexpected and welcome convenience. The surrounding park is both impressive and immaculately maintained. On-site parking is available through a grand and stately entrance. The hosts were gracious and highly accommodating.
