Nice, quiet & beautiful location, breakfast was good, choice very great, but not exceptional. Nice, large & clean rooms, very (!!) friendly staff / service & owner. Only negative thing to point out was everything felt a little bit 'old fashioned' ["alt-backen" in German]. Still, we would stay there again and will recommend this place (it's by far superior over the Marriott Hotel in Heidelberg, which so far been the worst Marriott Hotel we visited in Germany!).

The location, the breakfast, friendly staff

We are a family of 3, 2 adults and one child and it was an amazing stay. The room was really nice and very well isolated so we did not have an issue with the sound, the hotel is located almost in the woods but you have a view of the lake. The breakfast was good and everyone was very nice there. We enjoyed our stay so much that we want to go back, there are many routes for cycling or for walking.

The location of this place is excellent—just 5 minutes from Edersee, with easy access to hiking trails and the beach. The accommodation was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. The outdoor deck with a nice view was a great bonus, and the mattress was very comfortable. Overall, this is a clean, well-located place that offers good value and is a great option for a short stay, especially for solo travelers looking to explore the Edersee area.

First of all, this house has probably the best view in Waldeck. For sure. The view from the living room is a living picture. The house itself is full of character and nothing is missing for a great time around the Edersee. Contact with the hosts is easy and responses are quickly and helpful. We even saw a badger walking in the garden.
